This formula is a variation of the Kidney Qi Pill (shen qi Wan) from the Essentials from the Golden Cabinet. This author of this script, Qian Yi, altered the original formula by exculing all yang herbs in order to treat children with Kidney Yin Deficiency. |
Multi-6 Essential Pill is one of China’s most important tonics for the Yin, or fluid physiology. It is designed to increase and mobilize the Kidney Yin’s power to moisten, soften, stabilize, and root the Qi. When life is Impaired by loss of control over manifestations of heat and activity, low back pain, sore legs, chronic teeth problems, dry skin, hair, eyes, or mouth, the root of Qi becomes unstable and one might experience shakiness in the upper portions of the body with such symptoms as ringing in the ears, dizziness, vision problems, or premature loss of hair.
Because the Kidneys, govern sexuality and reproduction, this combination has been traditionally used in China to restore sexual energy for such problems as lack of sexual fluids, premature ejaculation, sexual uneasiness and nervousness, and pain during intercourse.
A person requiring Multi-6 Essential tends to become thirsty easily. If one uses appearances, expect a shriveled appearance. Occasionally the voice is low, stammering, or hesitant. Commonly, the whole body, or just the hands or the face, can feel hot. At times there is a lot of unnecessary movement.
Note: This formula has cloying properties and should be used with caution in cases with indigestion, diarrhea due to Spleen Deficiency, or thick white, greasy tongue coating.
